1. General Overview

TheComicLibrary.com offers digital-only products and services, including:

  • Subscription-based access to our digital library
  • One-time purchases of individual comics via the Bookshelf

Due to the nature of digital content, our cancellation and refund terms follow Indian IT and e-commerce laws.

2. Subscription Cancellation

Users may cancel subscriptions anytime by going to:

  • Account Settings > Subscription > Cancel

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Mid-cycle cancellations do not qualify for refunds.

3. Refunds for Subscription Services

We do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has started, except for:

  • Duplicate charges caused by a system error
  • Platform inaccessibility for more than 48 hours due to our issue

If you meet the criteria, email us within 72 hours of the issue at help@thecomiclibrary.com using the subject line: Subscription Refund Request.

4. One-Time Comic Purchases (Bookshelf)

All one-time digital comic purchases are final and non-refundable once delivered.

Refunds may be issued only if:

  • The comic fails to load due to our system issue
  • The file/format is broken or unreadable across major browsers

To request a refund, email us within 72 hours of purchase with:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Screenshots of the issue

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be granted for the following:

  • Accidental purchases
  • Change of mind
  • Browser/device incompatibility
  • Incorrect email ID usage
  • Internet connectivity issues on the user’s side

6. Processing Approved Refunds

Refunds (if approved) are processed within 7 working days and credited to the original payment method.

7. Your Responsibility

  • Ensure correct email ID and login details are used during signup
  • Review all product descriptions before making a payment

8. Legal Compliance

  • Complies with Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Follows Information Technology Act, 2000

We reserve the right to deny refund requests if found to be unreasonable or fraudulent.
